SVM 4/250
The mobile test bench SVM 4/250 is specifically designed for testing valves with DIN and ASA flanges up to a nominal diameter of DN 250 / 10". The valve to be tested is secured to the clamping point using two adjustable clamping claws, which can be adjusted in height to accommodate various flange sizes.
The clamping force is typically applied by manually tightening the clamping screws. If additional sealing force is required, each clamping screw features a hexagon, allowing the force to be increased using a tool if necessary.
Compressed gases from external gas cylinders or compressors can be used as the test medium. The test pressure is regulated via specially developed METRUS precision needle valves V30.2 on the 2-way valve head. The pressure at the valve head is displayed on an inlet pressure gauge (M1) located on the front panel.
Test pressure gauges are connected via two parallel quick connectors (G½") on the top of the control cabinet. These parallel connections allow the use of a pressure sensor or a comparison gauge in addition to the main test pressure gauge.
A bubble counter is mounted on the right side of the control cabinet, which connects to the outlet of the valve via an air hose and rubber stopper. Operation is performed using the precision needle valves, with the required test pressure adjusted at the pressure inlet valve and displayed on the test pressure gauge on the control panel.
