Laser-Bubble-Counter integrated
Integrated Laser Bubble Counter – Leak Testing for Automated Systems
The integrated METRUS Laser Bubble Counter is a high-precision solution for valve leak testing, specifically designed for integration into test benches and automated production systems.
Unlike stand-alone units, this system is directly integrated into existing test equipment or automated test benches, enabling fully automated leak testing as part of the overall testing process.
Measurements are performed in bubbles per minute or per hour, allowing reliable detection of even the smallest leaks – ideal for serial production and quality assurance.
Relevant testing standards:
- API 527 (safety valves)
- EN 60534-4 / ANSI FCI 70-2 (control valves)
- EN 12266 (shut-off valves)
Function and integration
The system includes three precision measuring tubes for accurate water level adjustment.
Through system integration, leak testing becomes a seamless part of the automated test sequence. Measurement duration and delay times can be configured individually and assigned to specific test programs.
Operation and data handling are managed via the central control system (e.g. test bench or ATB or METRUS CRS), ensuring consistent and traceable results.
