SV 20/200

The SV 20/200 safety valve test bench from the METRUS SV series is designed for the adjustment, set pressure testing, and leak testing of safety valves with flanged fittings up to DN 200 (8”). It is particularly used after repair or maintenance work to ensure correct set pressure and sealing performance.

Safety valve testing requires precise control of low and high-pressure gas conditions as well as safe handling of the valve during actuation. The SV 20/200 uses a one-sided clamping system, allowing the valve outlet side to remain open for controlled discharge conditions.

The system operates with air / nitrogen or optional water as test media and allows pressure regulation up to 600 bar, depending on configuration. Precision needle valves ensure accurate adjustment of the test pressure, while integrated gauges provide continuous monitoring.

A bubble counter is integrated for visual leak detection, enabling reliable evaluation of valve performance during testing.

For larger safety valves up to DN 400, the SV 20/400 is also available within the METRUS SV series.
