CSV 10/150 UW (Underwater Test Bench)
The CSV 10/150 UW from the METRUS CSV series is designed for underwater pressure and leak testing of isolation, shut off and control valves with nominal diameters from DN 15 (½”) to DN 150 (6”). The system enables reliable body and seat testing under submerged conditions in a controlled test environment.
Testing smaller and medium-sized valves requires precise alignment, secure fixation, and safe pressure application. The CSV 10/150 UW reduces operational complexity through automated clamping technology and a structured control system, ensuring consistent and repeatable test cycles.
The system supports pneumatic testing with air up to 40 bar, allowing both body and seat leakage tests. Two-sided bubble counters enable precise visual detection of bidirectional leakage during operation.
The clamping unit provides a force capacity of 10 tons, ensuring stable fixation of the valve during the entire test process. Operation is performed via a dedicated control stand with clearly structured controls for safe handling.
As part of the METRUS CSV valve test bench series, this system is used in quality assurance environments where repeatability, safety, and testing accuracy are essential.
