High pressure air/gas inlet

For up to 600 bar

Option for CSV and BV test benches

In general, shell tests are carried out with high pressure water and seat leakage tests with low pressure air. Consequently, every METRUS control and shut off valve test bench is equipped with a workshop air connection for max. 10 bar pressure. To enable applications requiring air or gas pressure above 10 bar, a switchable, high pressure air inlet will be fitted.

+++ Remark +++

Please do have in mind that high pressure shell tests will require a safety enclosure for the clamping unit as well as a possible approval or permission from your safety inspector or your insurance company unless a high pressure water test of similar pressure level has been carried out in beforehand.

Standard for SV and SVM test benches

METRUS safety valve test benches are always fitted with a high pressure air/gas inlet. High pressure air/gas is the basic testing method within every SV and SVM model. To enable plug and work a suitable high pressure hose to connect the test bench to a Nitrogen bottle is part of the scope of supply.
