TESON II the benchmark in online safety valve testing

Different to a safety valve test bench test an online safety valve test (or ISVT – In Situ Valve Test) is carried out on site with the safety valve remaining in its operational position and the plant remaining in operation. Whenever a safety valve “only” requires testing and no further maintenance or overhaul, a TESON online safety valve test is the most economic approach. Special test rigs

Extension to the TESON standard set
When it comes to online safety valve testing, it is not only valvel size and set point that matter. Online testers are always interested in the “scenario” and the required test force. The test rig mounted on the valve hast to create enough force to overcome the difference between line pressure and set pressure. The higher the line pressure the less force will be required for a test.

Rig cables

Extension to the TESON standard set
A rig cable bundles all lines and hoses that connect the Power Box with the TESON test rig. It containes two hydraulic hoses and a cable each for the force and for the lift sensor signal (optional ultrasound signal).

Software

Included in standard scope of supply
In online safety valve testing, safe and efficient working does depend on the hardware as much as on the software. Being in a workshop type utilisation scenario, TESON is specially designed tob e operated by technicians that are not used to handling computer software.
